Non-Arizona Native Homeless Bill
This bill addresses the homeless population that are not
native Arizonans. That are living homeless in Pima county, Tucson, Arizona.
I’m precenting this bill to the Arizona state legislature because
they are going to other states with this bill because it concerns citizens that
are native born in that state that have left that state to live among the
homeless community in Tucson AZ. Which in turn they can help support Arizona
provide them with the humanitarian needs they deserve as a human population. I discuss on this bill how the homeless population can
benefit from this bill because Pima County Tucson Arizona has housing programs
like the ones you discussed but are not easy to, to get, for the Mentally ill
and most of the homeless in our community already had assisted housing but
rejected it or don't want to live indoors. The homelessness problem is broader
than just providing homes for the homeless here in Tucson Arizona. Check out my
discussion board bill to see the depth of the same problem in Tucson, AZ. And
feel free to take from it to add to your bill to precent to your county.
Non-Arizona Native Homeless Bill
In Pima County, In the city of Tucson Az, the homeless population
is extremely high. Many Americans from all over the country come to Tucson Az
to be part of the homeless population. One of the main reasons is the weather,
even though the temperatures can drop below 29 degrees like it did last night,
many still want to live here because winters are short, only a couple of months
out of the year. And living outdoors in camps, in the desert is not uncommon
here.
I would ask the state of Arizona to petition all the other 49
states of United states of America to contribute a portion of their welfare
funding to Pima county to help support the many community charities,
ministries, mental health institutions, housing organizations and faith-based
programs that are carrying the heavy load for providing all humanitarian needs
and protection to the homeless community from the harsh desert elements. We in
Pima county are bearing the heavy cost of taking care of these brothers and
sisters of our homeless community.
A portion of that funding would be used for hiring field
social workers who work among the homeless caring for the needs of the homeless
elderly, the homeless mentally ill, and homeless veterans, with their day-to-day
needs. Like per example, pushing a wheelchair to a soup-line or to a cool place
to be in the hot Tucson summer days, which can reach upwards of 115 degrees in
the summer. Funds will also be used for building sun shelters with cool water,
fans, mistifiers and food.
I hope we can get this done before the spring. Thank you for
this support.
